Fishing at It's Finest . .
.
Trapline is a unique
flowage lake. The rugged structure allows for continuous
Walleye action; Northerns are plentiful. One of our most
popular lakes for "Trophy Walleye Fishermen".
What You'll Catch . .
.
Walleye and Northern Pike are plentiful in
Trapline. Looking for variety? Portage 100 yards into
our Wilson Lake, one mile west of the cabin, to also catch "BIG"
Smallmouth and lots and lots of Lake Trout. Does it get any
better than that?
About Your Stay .
.
.
Trapline Lodge is a big, roomy, two-level log cabin
outpost. It has a wrap-around deck and a big, screened-in
porch that faces west. You can watch the beautiful sunsets
in comfort, with no bugs. The fire pit is right out front
for the campfire that can really be enjoyed in the right
season. The second photo at left shows the fish house/generator
shed and the ice house along the shoreline. The cabin has its own
unique style and is well
enjoyed by all who stay there. The third photo at left shows the
unique log stairs and tongue & groove woodwork.
Trapline Lodge will
accomodate parties of six to eight people. It is
reachable only by air. You and your party will be flown in
from Kenora, Ontario. If you should require equipment or
advice during your stay, a flight will arrive every few
days. We ask you bring certain items but most of your
equipment is provided, including boats, motors, lifejackets,
etc. We will do everything we can to make your stay
enjoyable.
