Big Lake,
Big Fish . . .
One of our "BIG 3". Fish the well known
Sturgeon river system for "Lunker" Walleye, Trophy Northern Pike
and abundant Smallmouth Bass. All can be found throughout
the seven miles of rugged Roger Lake waters.
Roger
Lake
Chalet is situated on a ridge with long views to the south, east
and west. The rugged Canadian Shield scenery and vivid
sunsets are enjoyed from the well-lighted, wrap-around deck or
screened porch. The chalet has three separate bedrooms and
sleeps up to ten persons, eight persons comfortably.
What You'll Catch . .
.
Roger
Lake is stained water with a healthy forage base that produces
big, chunky Walleyes, four to six pound Bass and trophy Northern
Pike, often over 40 inches long. Walleyes, Northern
Pike, and Smallmouth Bass are abundant and easy to catch.
Fly-in fishing for bass is rare - come to Roger Lake to
experience how good it can be. You will also observe other
kinds of life around Roger Lake's waters.
See below left, for example.
About
Your Stay . . .
You and your party will find
a beautiful beach near the camp. The 50-foot waterfall at
left is a 20
minute boat ride from the chalet.
We accept parties as small as four persons and as large as ten
persons, to ensure a comfortable stay for
all.
