A Little
Peace and Quiet . . .
Addition and remodelling was completed in1991. This luxurious two story cabin has a wrap-around deck with a westward view of the rolling hills and rugged shores lined with pine and poplar trees. There are three bedrooms on the main level and a sleeping area loft upstairs. The pine and log interior is very spacious and sleeps eight people comfortably. A bald eagle nesting area is less than 1/2 mile west of the cabin in a huge stand of white and jack pine trees. Fish for Walleye and Northern Pike and enjoy the serene peace and tranquility this three mile flowage lake has to offer. Nance Lake has tea-colored water -- rich in iron and minerals. It has excellent Walleye fishing and trophy Northern Pike are becoming more common with catch-and-release practives being followed over more than ten years. Portage into Little Nance Lake for more exciting action from the same two fish species. The portage into Little Nance Lake is only a ten minute boat ride from the dock. What You'll Catch . . . Nance Lake contains an assortment of species. The most plentiful are Walleye and Northern Pike. Hopefully when you see them they will be dangling from your line. About Your Stay . . . Nance Lake is accessable by air only. It is also the only cabin on the lake, so your stay is sure to be quietly beautiful. Your party of four to six persons will be flown in from our docks in Kenora, Ontario. |
