Denver Lake has great fishing
year round for walleyes
and northern pike. Last year, only four
people went into Denver Lake. It can only be reached by a 1/4 to
1/2
mile portage from McCusker Lake. A boat and motor are in the
lake, so
you only have to take yourself and fishing gear.
How good is the fishing? Well, the current record is 24 walleyes on twenty four consecutive casts with a Mepps spinner. Maybe you could do better.

Lake is south east of McCusker Lake off of Curley Bay. The map
