Fisherman's Favourite . . .
Another
of our "BIG 3". An extremely
healthy flowage lake, enticing the greatest number of fisherman
each year. Walleye fishing is excellent any time.
Northern Pike can be caught everywhere. Portage into our
Trout Lake for more Northern Pike, Lake Trout and some scenic
Ontario wilderness beauty.
In the Spring of 2007 we encountered record high water levels, as shown in the third photo on the left. Small Northern Pike were swimming in the grass, feeding on the mice and rodents that had drowned in the high water. The water levels have retreated to their former level and now the fishing is better than ever. Bring a counter for the large numbers of Walleye and Pike you'll catch, or you'll lose lose track of the number of fish landed during your stay with us at Chase Lake. Chase is a good size body of water; we provide 15 horsepower Yamaha motors and 14 foot wide-body Lund boats with swivel seats. That makes the ride to the north end of the lake faster and more comfortable. What You'll Catch . .
