McCusker
Lake
McCusker
is our main lake, and the one you will stay on for your visit at
McCusker Lake Camp. The lake is about eight miles long by
six miles wide (see map below), with wonderfully clear water.
Clear water equals trout but the lake is also
great fishing for walleyes and northern
pike.
Because
McCusker is so clear, you will have a novel experience -- casting to
fish you can see -- and watching them strike the lure.
If you want the peak in fishing experience, come in late May to mid
July or September. July and August have the best weather.
