Black Trout Lake     

Black Trout Lake has great fishing for trout and northern pike.  It can only be reached by a very difficult portage from McCusker Lake.  A boat and motor are in the lake, so you only have to take yourself and fishing gear.

It is very easy to catch trout in the lake, and these trout are of a blackish colour, which is why the lake is so named.  This lake is best tackled by fit individuals, and overnight camping is recommended.  Because of the access difficulty, very few guests go to Black Trout, but those that do are immensely rewarded.
